Navajo: U.S. fails to protect sacred sites

WINDOW ROCK — In a clash of cultures, representatives of the U.S. Forest Service and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Office of Tribal Relations heard from Navajo medicine people and the grassroots Monday about how the federal agency could do a better job of addressing issues impacting sacred sites.
